Michael Johnson
I have always been fascinated by the intricacies of the human body and its natural ability to heal, the advancement of athletic performance and the artistry of movement. I have found these through Osteopathy and Martial Arts.
After suffering my own injuries, I found Osteopathy to help me heal. I wanted to know more, so I enrolled at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy (CAO), completing my Masters in Practice of Osteopathic Manipulative Sciences (M.OMSc) in 2024. Before beginning studies at the CAO, I completed an Honor’s Degree in Physics at the University of Guelph (2013).
Here’s a glimpse into my world:
As an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, I am passionate about holistic health. I believe in resolving not just symptoms but the underlying causes that affect our well-being. My hands are my tools, and I use them to restore symmetry and range of motion, easing pain and enhancing vitality.
When I step onto the mats or into the ring, I am a student of movement. I immerse myself in the flow of body and mind, wrapped in the precision of Muay Thai, the fluidity of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and the complexity of MMA. The discipline, focus, and resilience I cultivate here enrich my Osteopathic practice, and Osteopathy in turn enhances my Martial Arts journey.
My passion lies in empowering the individual, restoring and optimizing health by providing treatment tailored to you. By facilitating the body's self-regulatory mechanisms, health and vitality can be restored. I thrive on building connections – within the body, with patients, fellow practitioners, and fellow martial artists.
